Language Requirements

If your chosen program’s medium of instruction is English, you must demonstrate proficiency in English before beginning your studies. If you cannot provide valid English language test scores during the application process, you may take the Beykoz University English Proficiency Exam upon arrival.

A score of 60 or above on the Beykoz-PROF Exam exempts you from the English Preparatory Program.

Students who do not pass the exam will attend a one-year English Preparatory Program, which does not count toward the total duration of their academic program.

Exemption Criteria:
You can be exempted from the English Preparatory Program if you meet one of the following:
– Achieved the minimum required scores in the following exams: YDS / e-YDS / YÖKDİL: 60
TOEFL: 72
PTE Academic: 55
CAE: C
– Completed at least three years of education in English at a recognized institution (high school or university).

Turkish Language Proficiency
For programs taught in Turkish, all non-native Turkish-speaking students must prove their proficiency in Turkish before starting their studies. Students may take the Turkish Language Exam (TOMER) upon arrival.
Students who do not pass the exam may enroll in Turkish language courses at BEYKOZTOMER.

Applicants with a B2 Level Turkish Language Certificate (TOMER) are exempt from the Turkish Language Exam.
