Student Selection Criteria
Join Istanbul Medipol University and take your academic experience to the next level! Here’s what you need to qualify:
Eligibility Requirements
- Citizenship or Residency:
Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the country where their home university is located or hold a valid temporary visa for that country. - Academic Progress:
Completion of at least one year of full-time study at the home institution is required. - Academic Performance:
A good to excellent academic record is essential for eligibility.
English Language Proficiency Requirements
If English is not your first language, you’ll need to meet the following minimum language standards:
- TOEFL-IBT (Home Edition not accepted): Minimum score of 84
- Cambridge English Advanced: Grade B or higher
- Cambridge English Proficiency: Grade B or higher
- PTE Academic: Minimum score of 71
- Oxford Test of English (All Modules): Level B2 or higher
- IELTS: Minimum overall score of 6.5
Exemptions:
- Native English speakers
- Students who graduated from high schools in the USA, UK, Canada, Pakistan, or Nigeria
Academic Achievement Reports
At the end of each semester, a detailed academic transcript will be sent to your home university. This report will be available no later than four weeks after the final examination period, ensuring that your progress is properly documented and shared.
