REGISTRATION PROCESS AT SABANCI UNIVERSITY

General Information and Required Documents

At Atabs Consultancy, we are committed to supporting students throughout the registration process at Sabancı University. Students accepted to the university and eligible to enroll must complete a two-stage registration process within the dates specified in the Academic Calendar. Submission of all required documents is mandatory; failure to do so will result in the loss of enrollment rights.

Stage I: Online Registration

  • During the registration dates, all required documents must be uploaded via the online registration system.
  • Necessary forms should be completed as part of this stage.

Stage II: In-Person Submission

  • Students must submit the original or notarized wet-signed and stamped versions of all documents in person to the Student Resources Directorate on the specified dates.
  • After verification, original documents will be returned to the student. Students are advised to bring both originals and copies of all documents.

Required Documents for Registration

  1. Original Test Score/Diploma or Notarized Copy

    • Accepted exams: SAT, GCE, ACT, etc.
    • High school diploma must accompany the test score.
    • SAT scores must be sent directly to Sabancı University via Collegeboard (Institution Code: 7100).
  2. High School Diploma

    • Original or notarized copy.
    • If issued in a language other than Turkish or English, a notarized translation must also be submitted.
  3. High School Diploma Equivalency Certificate

    • Issued by the Turkish Ministry of Education or the Turkish Embassy’s Education Attaché.
  4. Original Transcript

    • Original or notarized copy.
    • If issued in a language other than Turkish or English, a notarized translation must also be provided.
  5. Passport

    • Photocopy of the passport page containing the applicant’s photo.
    • If unavailable during registration, a notarized or consulate-attested “true copy” is required.
  6. Visa Stamp Page

    • Copy of the page in the passport showing the Turkish entry stamp.
  7. Residence Permit

    • Copy of both sides of the Residence Permit (if previously obtained).
  8. Passport-Size Photo

    • One recent photo (4.5 x 6 cm) uploaded to the online registration system only.
  9. Language Proficiency Certificate

    • For students seeking exemption from the Foundation Development Year.
    • Certificate must be emailed to Student Resources and uploaded to the online registration form prior to the registration date.
  10. Parental Consent Letter (For Students Under 18)

    • A notarized letter from both parents granting permission for the student to enroll and study at Sabancı University.
    • This letter must be uploaded online and submitted in person with a wet signature and stamp.
    • If both parents are physically present during registration, a written authorization letter may replace the notarized consent.
  11. Student Information Form

    • Must be completed online by filling in all sections.
    • Instructions to create a Sabancı University account will be emailed to students before registration.

Note: Sabancı University may request additional documents beyond those listed above.
